One of our primary goals is preparing players to compete and succeed at the college level. We do this by selecting coaches who have played or coached at the collegiate or professional level. Additionally, we schedule competition with teams we know will push our players to improve their own skills. Lastly, through our educational seminars we provide players and families with the information they need to make smart choices regarding college recruiting.

Coast to Coast currently has alumni playing at every level of college baseball.....and even professionally. The following C2C alums have been selected during the MLB Draft or signed a pro contract.

Buckeye Alums Finish With Strong Numbers
2008-05-23
C2C alums, Jake Hale (Australia, 2001) and Ryan Meade (Florida, 2005) each enjoyed strong seasons for the Ohio State Buckeyes in 2008. Hale finished the season with a 5-3 mark on the mound, appearing in 12 games mostly as a starter. He finished with 45 strikeouts in 74 innings pitched. The twice-drafted junior right-hander will likely be selected again in the June MLB draft.

Meade, in his first season at OSU, saw time primarily at 1B and DH. He played in 40 games, batted .314 and had 28 RBI while only making 2 errors defensively. The Columbus-area native hit fourth and fifth in the line-up for most of the year and expects to be a major contributor in 2009.

The Buckeyes finished the year 30-26 overall and 15-15 in the Big Ten Conference.
