One of Coast to Coast Baseball's primary goals is to prepare players to compete and succeed at the college level. We do this by selecting coaches who have played or coached at the collegiate or professional level. Additionally, we schedule competition with teams we know will push our players to improve their own skills. Lastly, through our educational seminars we provide players and families with the information they need to make smart choices regarding college recruiting.

Narregan and Wilhelmi Impress During Fall Season at Blackburn College
Two former Coast to Coast players have begun their college careers with an impressive fall season at Blackburn College (NCAA DIII) in Carlinville, IL. Ryan Narregan (MI) and Zach Wilhelmi (AZ) impressed coaches from the start.
“Ryan [Narregan] really turned heads this fall on the mound. He threw strikes and is definitely a good competitor. His fall performance certainly indicates that he should be ready to produce for us in the spring. He should only get better,” said Blackburn Head Coach Mike Neal. Narregan, a left-handed pitcher and outfielder, participated in the 2006 Coast to Coast Camp & Showcase in Florida.

Coach Neal was also duly impressed with Wilhelmi……“Zach’s a great kid with a good work ethic. He will challenge for the starting catching job as a freshman. He handled the bat well in the fall and hopefully as he gets stronger will produce some good power numbers for us.” Wilhelmi, a catcher/first baseman, is a veteran of multiple trips with Coast to Coast having traveled with the club to Australia, Puerto Rico and Florida.
Narregan and Wilhelmi met at the Florida Camp & Showcase and have continued their friendship at Blackburn. Both are looking forward to contributing in the upcoming spring season. We wish them luck!
