One of Coast to Coast Baseball's primary goals is to prepare players to compete and succeed at the college level. We do this by selecting coaches who have played or coached at the collegiate or professional level. Additionally, we schedule competition with teams we know will push our players to improve their own skills. Lastly, through our educational seminars we provide players and families with the information they need to make smart choices regarding college recruiting.

C2C Alum Signs With Buckeyes
On November 8, 2006 former Coast to Coast Baseball standout Ryan Meade inked a national letter of intent to play with the Ohio State Buckeyes. Meade, a versatile 3B/P expects to play both positions for OSU.
Meade's road to Colubus began in the winter of 2006 when he attended the Coast to Coast Baseball Showcase Camp in Jupiter, FL. While at the camp he made an impression on KC Royals scout Gene Watson. Working with the Florida Marlins at the time, Watson took an interest in the young star and worked with him at length on his hitting during the camp. "He helped me so much with my hitting, that's honestly how I've become the hitter I am," said Meade, a career .419 high school hitter.
Meade is looking forward to his upcoming senior season at Olentangy HS where the team finished as state runners-up in 2006. C2C Program Director Chip Stahl says, "We're looking forward to the June MLB draft to see if Ryan is selected. If not, we'll enjoy watching him in Columbus!"
