Day 1

Assemble at the gateway airport for your flight to Amsterdam. The overnight flight includes meals, movies and beverage service.  

Day 2

Arrive Amsterdam. After clearing Dutch customs and immigration formalities, transfer to Haarlem, your first base in Holland. This afternoon you have a game at a local ballpark.  

Day 3

Morning game at a local field. After lunch, a guided tour of Amsterdam includes the Anne Frank House, a diamond factory and time for shopping. Back to the ballpark for evening games against one of the local Dutch sides.  

Day 4

This morning, enjoy a tour of Zaanse Schanse, the are of windmills, a cheese farm and a wooden shoe factory. Then, back to the ballpark for an evening game.  

Day 5

Depart Haarlem this morning, across the border, into Belgium. Arrive Antwerp and check into your hotel. Then, an afternoon game is scheduled.  

Day 6

Today, you enjoy a guided tour of the city, including the Town Hall, Grand Plaza, Olde Cathedral and much more. A meeting with the Belgian youth players is planned, followed by your second game in Antwerp.  

Day 7

Take a day off from baseball today. Depart Antwerp for a trip to Brugge, a renaissance capital of Belgium, You day includes a look at the only Michelangelo to leave Italy during his lifetime, a "Madonna and Child." Then, stop in Ghent, an ancient capital of Flanders on the way to Oosterhout, in Holland.

Day 8

Back to the ballpark today for a morning game. Then, visit the amusement park, "Den Efteling," for rides and attractions. Back to the ballpark in the evening for the second end of a doubleheader.  

Day 9

Depart Oosterhout this morning for Apeldoorn. En route, visit the capital city of Holland...Den Haage (the Hague). Also, visit Delft, home of the Dutch blue porcelain and the North Sea beach resorts. Check into your hotel upon arrival in Apeldoorn and unpack, relax and get settled for tomorrow's opening of the tournament.  

Day 10

Today marks the opening of the 2000 Apeldoorn Mini-Series. Round-robin games will determine your playoff seeding on Sunday. While not on the field, visit the Palace Het Loo, former summer home of the Dutch royal family.  

Day 11

Visit the Apenheul, or Ape Park, You can pet, hold and even feed several species of monkey here in the park. Later, your tournament games continue in the round-robin phase of competition.  

Day 12

Final round-robin games are played today. Explore the open-air market in the town square this morning. Good buys can be found if you are a shrewd shopper!  

Day 13

Today is dedicated to the finals of the Series. Playoff games will depend on your seeding following the round-robin play. Following the Championship Game, a BBQ and farewell ceremony is planned.  
Day 14 Depart for Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam and your flight home to the USA. Arrive later this very same afternoon.
