Puerto Rico Sample Itinerary

You fly directly from your hometown to the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport in San Juan. After checking into the hotel, we’ll head out to the fields for a light practice. Later this evening we’ll attend an orientation and welcome session at the hotel.

The morning is dedicated to instruction and practice at the Roberto Clemente Sports City. An afternoon seminar by poolside is followed by dinner and then your first game against Puerto Rican competition. After tonight’s game, the local club will host a post-game authentic meal of “arroz con pollo” (rice with chicken) for everyone to enjoy.

This morning you will receive intensive instruction on hitting, pitching, base-running and defensive play from our staff of top coaches. In the afternoon you’ll have free time to hit the beach or kick back in the hotel’s Jacuzzi. After dinner, you’ll play a game under the lights.

Morning workout. In the afternoon we take a break to explore the 450 year-old El Morro Fort and other historic sights in Old San Juan, the island’s most famous historic district. Lunch at a local restaurant in Old San Juan.

Full day of games and instruction at the Roberto Clemente Sports City Baseball Complex in San Juan. Afternoon free time for swimming, followed by a seminar on the college recruiting process hosted by our coaching staff.

Day 6
We’ll practice at Sola Morales pro winter ball stadium - a beautiful 10,000-seat astroturf field where many of today’s Puerto Rican MLB stars have played. This evening, you’ll play a night game against a strong team from Vega Baja, hometown of Juan “Igor” Gonzalez, Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez, and Bernie Williams. Afterwards, there’s an informal awards ceremony at the hotel.

Morning free to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool or visit to the beach. Time to say goodbye to your coaches, teammates and new friends before you head back to the States.
